Since I started The French Skinny, I've discovered a passion for baking. Apparently, others have noticed because I keep getting requests.
A couple days ago I was at Neighbor Wife's house. Her husband happened to mention his birthday was coming up and he would really like a Star Wars cake. This will be the 3rd cake I make in 3 weeks.
Thank goodness I know Smacksy. Her son, Bob, has schooled me on all things Star Wars. As 5 says, "Bob is an expert at Star Wars".
There are so many ways to go with this cake. I was going to get really fancy. You know, get out my charts and graphs, multi layered, dowels, fondant, maybe a Yoda cake. But then yesterday he said he wants a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.
So I think I'm going old school on this one. We'll see.
