Day 38 from France:
Mon Chien Stupide

Shaboom sends us her update from Paris...

I had a frustrated heart to heart with Obsessed! "I can't do this anymore.  Can you please take out the trash? Why don't we ever go on dates? Have you noticed I'm on strike and that there has been no indoor cardio? Does this gallon of ice-cream make my butt look big?" There was lots of crying. I wonder, does stress burn calories?

I ate a delicious carbonara, drank a litre of water and walked 8 km.

On my way to rehearsal, there were crazy bums on the metro shouting at each other from each their end of the train car.  One was trying to solicit money, the other wanted to be left alone in his drunken stupor and kept telling the solicitor to shut up.  The solicitor did a good job ignoring the drunk at first but let himself get engaged once the drunk hurled incredibly nasty insults at him machine-gun style.

There were lots of train transfers so lots of stairs. Another calorie burner - 2 hours of high energy singing and dancing.

I ate 3 hard candies for my dry throat and drank a 50cl pilsner with a French HR girl afterwards as she helped me with my résumé.  This girl is so nice and so generous with her time.  I don't know why she's helping me.  I think we're going to have to become friends.  Thank you!!

I ate a handfull of pistachios when I got home.

  2. My namе іs %name&% and first off I wish to sаy great post.
I have a brief question which I’d like tο aѕκ if you dоn't mind. I was interested to learn about how you focus yourself and empty your mind before writing. Lately I just can't get my
head cleаг so that I'm prepared to work on my ideas. I love writing once I get into the act, but in most cases I feel as if I end up wasting the first ten to fifteen minutes driving myself to focus. Any tips or suggestions?
