Brussels Sprout Chips

I'm making these yummy Brussels Sprouts Chips today for "Game Day".

(Game Day for me means handing over snacks to Hubby and 5 while they watch the Super Bowl and I retreat to the other room and watch Bridesmaids.)

This is a ridiculously easy recipe and we all love it.

1. A bag of Brussels Sprouts.
2. Safflower or Olive Oil.
3. Sea Salt.

I cut the ends off the Brussels Sprouts and remove the leaves as much as I can then cut the rest up into small pieces. (This part is a little labor intensive but the leaves are like chips when crisp.)
I put the Brussels Sprouts in a bowl and pour just a little oil over them to coat then add the sea salt. Mix it all together put it on a cookie sheet lined with foil (above photo) and roast in a 400 degree oven for 15 or 20 minutes.

That's it!

Have a great "Game Day"

Whatever that means to you!

  2. I make these as a low carb meal all of the time. You can also add bacon or prosciutto(sp?). Delicious :)
