Day 74 from France:
Champagne Night

Shaboom sends us her update from Paris SoCal...

I started the day off with a pot of french press and a banana. I ran errands all day in my car - YAY! I have a car! I was so busy buying bubble wrap, packing tape and other such moving supplies that I skipped lunch... totally forgot.

I went to BugGirl's house in the hills for happy hour. We had a couple of Amstel Lights and I ate a few slices of ham and a few slices of cheese before getting ready to go out to a friend's birthday and then to the Bar Marmont on Sunset Blvd.

Here's the spread at the birthday party which was held in a fabulous penthouse apartment just north of Hollywood Blvd. I had a slice of red velvet cake and a glass of French Lemonade with vodka.

At the Marmont, I had a glass of champagne with LookAtMe and some friends. A 22-year old Norwegian model was trying to pick me up all night. It was sweet but it made me laugh. I wish I could've had some fun with him back when I was 22.

Tomorrow I get to see Karen!!! YAY! I can't wait to try this Porto's place that she's always talking about. We're going to go on a walk. Yay! She's going to show me her insane stair climbing routine ...I'll sit with my camera, a coffee while I watch her as I smoke, I suppose. That's very French. Maybe I'll curse at her and make lots of hand gestures in order to show my support.

  1. Oooohhhh how I wish I could sit and smoke with you and curse as she does flight, after flight, after flight of stairs. I HAD to walk up flights after taking my son to the movies the other night. I realized then that 60 flights is a LONG way off for me. There HAS to be a better way.

  2. Yeah, I don't know what to do with myself. Just thinking about watching her do stairs makes me tired.
