Day 39 from France: The Crêpe-Off

Shaboom sends us her update from Paris...

I got 2-3 hours of sleep. I just can't turn off my brain. SwimSwim is moving out of my apartment today.

Obsessed! and I woke up at 9am for a round of morning indoor cardio. 20 minutes. I wasn't into it. Too freaking tired.

AMAZING breakfast in bed. Taters in butter with ham and a fried egg. Carbonara. Bread with Boursin and strawberry jam. 1 chocolate chip madeleine. 1 litre of tea. 1 small glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.

I walked 2 km today and climbed lots of stairs.

2 chocolate chip madeleines later in the day.

1 piece of chocolate

We had a crêpe-off with friend from The States. We all ate way too much.

split ham/cheese/egg between 3
one bite bechamel shroom ham cheese
split nutella whipped cream

split sugar butter lemon

ate 85% nutella coconut whipped cream

1 litre of tea

  1. It all looks wonderful! I'm getting out my crepe pan! And I'm noticing how small the bowls are. Clue? You don't think about portion sizes because everything is served on smaller plates and bowls......?

  3. Small plates and bowls, check! Crepe pan...don't have one...on the list of must haves...ate french bread, brie, apples, grapes and chicken today. Not all at once. Walked no where...thought about stairs...didn't actually climb any. It's a process. Plus my day was less than great...I'm lucky I made it through without coming home and climbing under the covers until tomorrow. Tomorrow...I will conquer some stairs!
