Total = Lost 12 pounds in 3 weeks.

I think I have to break up with Protein Powder for good. This is amazing. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around it. It's strange because I've always either been on a diet or felt guilty for not being on a diet. My thoughts are still something like this.

It's not going to work.

So what if it's worked so far, you're gonna platue and then what?

I think I'll walk to the bakery for a treat.

I'm not on a diet.

I'm eating delicious food.

Is that scale right?

I can eat as much as I want?

I'm not really that hungry.

I feel full all the time. I don't have any cravings for anything. This food is fun. Walking to somewhere instead of walking for the sake of walking makes it seem like it's just a part of my life.

The one thing about this that I haven't been able to incorporate into my life in an easy breezy way are the stairs. That still feels like I'm "working out".

We are all enjoying this adventure.
La douceur de vivre!

  2. I love the feeling I get after I work out.
I like hanging out with my friends and feeling healthy.
I'm still getting the feel good feelings with all the walking and stairs.
I really thought I'd be up in pounds at this point.
And it's REALLY great to have a choice.

  3. I'm jealous. This diet just scares me. In fact....everytime I read a post. I gain a pound. It's weird. (: I'm really impressed though.

  4. Karen, what did you mean by thinking you'd be up in pounds? You thought you'd have lost more? You thought you'd weigh more? Have I not been speaking enough English lately? I'm under the impression that I don't quite understand what you're saying...

  5. I'm sorry. I meant that I really thought I would gain weight eating all of this crazy good food not lose weight.

  6. I, too, am petrified but ... the other plan I'm doing isn't working. Drinking a lot and over committing myself so I don't have time to work out. So .... hmmmm.

  9. Congratulations! I've been working out a lot lately, and I really don't enjoy it very much at all except for hikes. But that's probably just because of the whiskey in my canteen.
