Day 23 from Burbank: In Search of Macarons

In Search of Macarons

After hours of research, okay I Googled Macarons and read a few reviews,
I found a bakery in Pasadena that makes delicious Macarons.

Euro Pane

950 E Colorado Blvd.
Pasadena, CA 91106

(I did not walk there)

It's a lovely, quaint little bakery with wonderful goodies.

Did I mention that bakeries are my new Happy Place?

Macarons!!!!

Voila

No stairs today.

Lunch: Bacon and poached eggs. (I know, that's so Shaboomy)

Dinner: Pasta, salad and, of course, macarons.

  1. Paulette in Beverly Hills apparently has the best macarons. Also Little Next Door on 3rd street has good one that I have tried. They also have them at a little bakery on La Cienega close to Real Food Daily, but I can't remember what it's called. AND lastly, they make pretty good ones at Bottega Louie downtown. I'm am all about the macaron. I make a dark chocolate one with bergamot ganache at home. YUM!
